Chambers in monochrome and multiple colors, with a full-page ad for the Free Press Women's Service Bureau penny leaflets on the final page. Newsprint lightly and evenly toned but still supple, tiniest bit of loss at the spine ends, else fine. First published the year prior, here reprinted as "The Sunday Novel, Complete in This Issue" in *The Detroit Free Press* of Sunday February 19, 1939. Presumably very uncommon in this large and rather delicate format; we have been unable to locate another copy.

A near fine copy in red cloth boards in a very good dust jacket with some edge chips, tears, and some creases. A solid copy of a book that is somewhat uncommon in any dust jacket.
