Description:
London: Allan Wingate, 1947. From the collection of Sister Benedicta, Oxford. Gold embossed hardcover in very good condition, with unclipped dust jacket in good condition for its age. Jacket shows shelf wear with marks, and nicks and tears to the edges, especially at the spine head. Jacket spine is also sunned. Page block head is discoloured, as are the paste downs and endpapers. Spine ends are creased, and page block foot is rough cut. 'Ex Libris Convent of the Incarnation, Fairacres, Oxford' label on FEP, as well as penned 'L'. Front and rear end papers are foxed; the pages and text are otherwise clean and unmarked throughout. LW. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Used.
