No.LXXXVI of an edition of only 125. 63pages, 9 x 6.5 inches. In English with complete French translation. Frontispiece by the artist, Rene Dessirier, who signed it in pencil. The woodcut shows the Dolphin leaving Matavai Bay, Tahiti, "Certainly, the poem is considered to be the first work of creative art inspired by Tahiti." Printed on laid paper. Stitched binding, housed in a marbled board slipcase and portfolio-style casing. The slipcase has some minor shelf wear, Book binding, pages and casing are like new. The book appears never read.
