The edges of the cloth are worn through and fraying, leaving the hinges a bit shaky but still secure enough for handling. Occasional fingerprint smudges inside, plus foxing on and around the plates. The folding map of Africa in back is torn. Text otherwise unmarked. Illustrated with lots of black and white engravings.
