Edited by Paul Arthur Schilpp. Contains Popper's autobiography, 33 critical essays, his replies to his critics, and his bibliography. Difficult to find in collectible condition, these volumes contain Popper's oeuvre, and demonstrate the impact he had on the philosophy of science, and other research fields. Volume one's spine has a very small concavity, else a lovely set.

Grünbaum firmly opposed Popper's view of psychoanalysis, chiefly that psychoanalytic claims could not be falsified, and published his influential Foundations of Psychoanalysis in 1984 substantially in opposition to Popper's views. Two volumes, octavo. Original blue cloth, spines lettered in gilt, gilt facsimile signatures to front covers. With dust jackets. Fine copies, in very good jackets, slight shelfwear and short closed tears at extremities, lightly toned, prices intact.
