First published by Weidenfeld in 1969 the copy offered is a first printing 1988 of the Third Edition- revised, updated and re-illustrated and Inscribed "Best Wishes" and Signed by Michael Grant to the title page in ink. VG/VG (Book - some uneven fading to boards, mild shelf wear to bottom edges, previous owner book plate to front paste down - Sir John and Lady Barnes - Sir John was late British Ambassador to the Netherlands and previously Israel. Dust Jacket- some uneven sun fading, no other defects to book or jacket the latter being non price clipped- cover £25 and supplied in a removable proprietary protective sleeve).
