Mendelssohn's magnificent variations (17) on a theme in D minor, composed in 1841 - here in the exceedingly scarce edition by Isidor Seiss (1840-1905), likely dating from over a century ago. 14 pages. CONDITION: An overall Very Good copy - unmarked but for the faint ghost of a few pencil markings, with moderate age-tanning and shelf-wear (a corner-crease and a couple short bottom-edge tears). This rare copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
