He says that Wyatt Earp 'was both a cold-blooded killer and a very suave and crafty dissimulator' and that Wyatt had told the author in detail 'how he had killed Curly Bill and John Ringo, but Breakenridge had told conclusively that Earp did not kill either of these men'
