Complete with appendices and index. Publisher's brown cloth, gilt titles to spine, gilt scimitars and motto motif to upper board, top edge brown, others untrimmed. Contents clean without the usual spotting, page edges fresh, no inscriptions, cloth with a few light rubs and marks. Near fine, without the jacket. Lawrence ('Lawrence of Arabia') while serving as a liaison officer with rebel forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks of 1916 to 1918.
