Society of Antiquaries of London; Printed by J Nichols, London, 1855. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Red half-leather with black spine-labels and gilt lettering and decoration, leather is rubbed at edges, spine-ends and spine-joints. Clean marbled end-papers, marbled block edges, light foxing to prelims, sound binding. Slight surface damage at base of spine from no longer present sticker. Many black and white or tinted plates and vignettes. Colour plates at pages 70 (double plate), 72, 179, 202, 204, 266, 282 (x3), 428, 429 and 456 (x2). Contains: I.
