Macmillan and Co, 1913. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1913. 3rd edition. 228 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth with gilt titles to spine. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters cracked with exposed netting. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown and pre title page. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards rather rubbed and marked overall. Spine is heavily sunned. Gilt is dulled and worn.

Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Spine is heavily tanned. Book has forward lean. Pen marking present. Black marking to rear.

In reddish-brown cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. Speckled text block edges. 12mo. Boards very gently rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends. Upper text block edge a little dust darkened. Free endpapers toned. Prize Presentation Plate on front paste down indicating the volume was awarded to A P Towler as first prize in Electrical Engineering by the Harris Institute, Preston, in 1919. Else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
