The book was conceived by Heaney and Cathal McCabe and designed by Pawel Tryzno. Printed on handwoven Polish paper by the Book Art Museum, Lodz. Stainless steel covers in a prepared mixed-media wrap featuring a silkscreen collage of articles from Polish newspapers in the days following the death of Czeslaw Milosz. A facsimile of Heaney's handwritten clear copy of the poem ''Saw Music'' accompanies the printed text.Out of a total edition of 300 copies this is one of 250 numbered and signed by Seamus Heaney. (The de luxe issue of 50 copies was an extraordinary production involving a structure with glass rods.)Fine in the very near fine, very slightly marked folding card case which shows a facsimile of Heaney's signature.
