The book is a travelogue of sorts, recounting the adventures of the oddly paired Stephen Graham (British journalist, travel-writer, essayist and novelist) and Vachel Lindsay (flamboyant American poet, considered the founder of 'singing poetry') in the Rocky Mountain wilderness.
