Interior - bequest bookplate on front pastedown, very light to light browning to pages and endpapers, slight bump to top corner of most pages, 1/2" split at top/bottom of rear inside gutter, otherwise clean and tight. Exterior - moderate to heavy edge/corner wear, moderate rubbing, a few light scratches and browning on rear board, darkening to spine, light wrinkling to top/bottom of spine, browning to edges of textblock. Good reference copy..

Superbly illustrated work on the history and iconography of witchcraft, alchemy, and magic. The book exhibits some spine fading of the red ink and minor wear & was professionally re-cased by the Heritage Bindery after the book block loosened. An attractive very good copy of a rare, interesting work.
