Slightly smaller book, dark blue cloth, silver lettering bright on top front and spine, spine slightly askew, brown stain at bottom reverse of final end paper, slight wear to spine edges and bottom front edge. Signed by Jack Dann above his printed name on p. 106, story entitled "Whirl Cage." Other stories written specifically for this book written by Gene Wolfe, Richard E. Peck, Gardner R. Dozois, Kate Wilhelm and others. DJ beneath mylar has dark color-illustration of alien planet scene on front, list of Orbit contents on back for Books 2-9. DJ has slight wear to front tips, light wear to front bookfold edge, light creases at top front edge, very slight wear to spine top edge, light wear to spine bottom edge, white back very slightly soiled and uniformly browned, smudged along back bookfold edge. Fair DJ/Good book.
