Wear to the corners and spine ends, with one small chip at the rear hinge (see photo). Bound in the original brown cloth, with decorative blind stamping to the spine and boards, both front and rear. The spine is gilt-stamped "Message and Documents 1858-9, Part 1." Below the spine is blind-stamped "House Document." NOT a library discard. Previous owner's name on endpaper. NO underlining.
