Scarce self-published first edition, 1000 copies, published in this form in 1952, later printed in a trade edition by Prentice Hall. This copy is an unnumbered presentation copy, inscribed to Bettina and Gene. Bradford Shank Sr. founded the Hyde Park Co-operative ( near the University of Chicago and still going strong), with his son Bradford Jr. Later, one of them, presumably Jr., wrote this book. Apparently one of these two was a physicist at Los Alamos, later an electrical engineer in Los Angeles, and worked with the Townsend Brown Foundation on the Biefeld-Brown effect which has involved attempts to patent an electrogravitational device.
