Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Boards have patchy sunning and sticker remnants.

In very good condition with very good rare dustwrapper. (DW; edges rubbed, small chips to corners, tears/loss at ends of spine, some darkening to rear. In protective sleeve. NOT price clipped.) Some slight darkening to spine and edges of cloth on cover, else cloth & printing bright. Neat inscription to front endpaper “Sylvia Read, 1938, Raymond.” Slight darkening to rear of frontis plate, some mild foxing spots to title page and page edges, else pages very clean and tight throughout. 169pp. With 8 full-page colour illustrations and many smaller B&W illustrations within text.
