Story is set around a widowed husband putting an ad in the local newspaper for a new wife to help care for his two children, set in the early part of the 19th century. Octavo. Green and white cloth boards, titles to spine gilt. With the pictorial dust jacket. A bright and excellent copy with just a tiny bit of soiling to spine of dust jacket.
