This highly regarded and rather progressive Russian-language arts journal was published near the end of the Soviet era, at a time when governmental ideological influence was still an issue for creative artists. I cannot, however, attest to the "tone" of this publication (regarding its liberal or conservative focus), but it does not seems particularly restrictive. CONDITION: a bright, solid, square, unmarked copy with light shelf-wear and a couple small cover corner creases. This handsome copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
