First edition, large 8vo, pp. xiii, [3], 718; original blue buckram, brown leather label stamped in gilt on spine; very light wear to extremities, the label a little scuffed with a few small chips out at edges, and the hinges a little tender; overall, a very good copy. A comprehensive bibliography of some 6,000 books from the 15th to the 20th centuries with detailed bibliographic information for each, plus numerous annotations. The most important reference in the field.
