About This Item

Chicago: [Rand McNally and Co.], 1915. First edition. 16x22cm, [32]pp. Plates, map. Printed on glossy, textured stock. Stapled, textured silver paper wraps. Some wear along spine and at corners. Nearly fine.

Beautifully printed viewbook of Mt. Rainier interesting in terms of both the production style and the images themselves.  Each plate appears zoomed in and goes all the way to the edges of the page, sans margins.  Views include the National Park Inn, Government Roads, Glaciers, Falls, Trails, Campsites, and more, with a map of the railway at rear.
