(Mona Vale, NSW): (Landsdown Slattery & Company), 1978. Facsimile Reprint. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Fine. 8vo. Pp. xlii, [3], 4-526. Introduction by F. M. Bladen. Frontis. reprints an engraving of Capt. James Cook. Illustrated with a couple other reproductions, including a fold-out facsimile of a Cook log entry. Tables. Index. Bound in brown cloth, blindstamped decoration on front board, gilt lettering on spine. The top corner of a couple leaves were bumped, leaving small dog-ears, now mellowed. A bright copy. First published in Sydney, 1893. Includes Cook's log for the period, as well as reports from his lieutenants (listed in the as authors, above) as well as an anonymous report.

An eminently presentable copy of a handsome book production. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
