About This Item

New York: The Penguin Press, 2011. First edition. Hardcover. Good/very good. Signed without personalization by the author on the title page, "Maureen Stanton June 15, 2011." A good copy, but with hard bumping to the head and heel of the spine, and another shallow bump to the bottom edge. Interior is very good - clean and unmarked, tight as if unread in a solid binding. The unclipped jacket is very good wtih some shelf-wear to the top edge of the panels - artfully discolored by the publisher for patena. 326, indexed, referenced, Stanton's detailed and fascinating look at the world of the second-hand treasure seekers, flea markets, and antique peddlers.
