New York & Toronto: Rinehart, 1947. 2nd Printing. Hardcover. Very good/good. 5 1/2 x 8 inches. 374 pages. Blue Cloth. Signed by Davis, with an inscription on half-title page; "For Julius Stern A souvenir of the Shenandoah and [can't make this word out] with warm affection Julia Davis". First printing was 1945 Farrar & Rinehart, this is a second printing (first Rinehart) after splitting with Farrar. Condition of the book is Very Good; spine moderately faded, text and illustrations are very clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is Good;' second printing' printed on front flap, all edges show wear with rubbing and chipping, spine lightly faded, price-clipped. STK
