Iowa City: The Windhover Press at the University of Iowa, 1981. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Fine. No. 117 of 220 copies, sixmo size, [46] pp. Printed with the Italian on the verso and the translation on the recto of each page; per the bibliography, "the translations are superb." A wonderful publication by the inimitable Kim Merker at the University of Iowa's Windhover Press.

___DESCRIPTION: Bound in full green cloth over boards, paper spine label, fore- and bottom edges uncut, the open capitals on the title page hand-coloured; Romanee and Double Augustin Open capitals on Windhover paper handmade at the Barcham Green Mill, sixmo size (5 7/8" by 5 3/4"), forty-six unnumbered pages with the spreads numbered with the poems.

___CONDITION: Fine overall; the binding clean and without blemish, the corners straight and unrubbed, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; a hint of sunning to the spine, else fine.
