About This Item
Delhi: Motilal Banarsidasss, 1991. Revised. Hardcover. Very Good/good. At the time this book was originally published in 1971, it was seen as a ground breaking research into the development of Buddhist belief and practice as it developed over two and a half millennia. Gombrich concluded that Buddhism, as practiced at the village level, was sufficiently conservative that it had not changed significantly in this time. Very Good Hardback in a Good Dust Jacket. 427 pages with a bibliography and an index. Weight: 1 kg Post free within Malaysia The dust jacket is dirty and has one or two small tears. The binding is tight, text clear and there is very mild tanning throughout. The corners of the last few pages are bent.
