Chicago: American Institute of Psycho-Analysis,1921. Seven quarto titles in wrappers, continuously paginated, viz., pages 1-244 pages. All titles with lower right hand bumped corners to covers and text within. Overall, bright and clean and Very Good.
The first seven units (244 pages) of apparently 13 total units (459 pages) published by this Chicago-based entity seeking to train and any all who wanted to become psychoanalysts.
Edward N. Schoolman, M.D. and Daniel H. Bonus, General Director, were the primary forces behind the American Institute of Psycho-Analysis. Schoolman died at 41 years of age. His obituary notes that he was a psychiatrist, psychologist and lecturer and a graduate of the Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery. Bonus authored How to Psycho-Analyze Yourself. A Confidential Analysis of Your Personality (1924) and similar. The American Institute of Psycho-Analysis is not to be confused with the present-day American Institute of Psychoanalysis founded in 1941 by Karen Horney.
