London: J G and F Rivington, 1835. Leather. Very Good. 7" by 4". None. A scarce religious text exploring all aspects to consider when establishing a church or religious establishment. "Religious Establishments are not only lawful, but that it is unlawful for a state to be without one. They are not convenient, but essential." Chapters include Presumptive Testimony, The Evidence of Experience or Historical Testimony, Scriptural Testimony. In original crushed morocco binding with gilt lettering to the front board. Externally, generally smart with slight rubbing to spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound with bright pages, but with light spotting to title page. Very Good
