London: John Murray, 1895. xix and 269 pages. 72 plates from photographs, 21 drawings in the text, Publisher's half white and red cloth. The author travelled to Kulu with his brother Colonel St George Corbett Gore who was in charge of a Himalayan Survey party. Next year he visited the North West Frontier and travelled up the Kurram with a political officer. Excellent photographs reproduced by Messrs Brunner and Hause of Zurich.
