I enjoy the straight forward, keep it simple quality of Asian food. This concept is readily the basis of this book of Asian recipes which is quite varied though easily followed. As a cookbook, it is not a parallel to Ms Child's treastise on French cooking by any means, however it is quite inclusive, instructional and very helpful to achieve satisfying results while also providing a plethora of scrumptious photos throughout. I really enjoy browsing through the book as well as cooking the recipes. I recommend this book to any one who cares to indulge in Asian culture's cuisine. Heat up your wok and enjoy! Mathriak
