About This Item
A lovely first edition, first printing of Roth's tragicomedy [Farrar, Straus and Giroux NY (1981)]. The book has a remainder mark on the bottom of the page edges, else fine. It has a tight and square binding, a brilliant red top stain, no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining or marking. The dust jacket is fine, not price-clipped ($10.95), with no creases, chips or tears and minimal shelf wear. It is now protected by a Gaylord archival cover that is easily removable. Please contact us for further details if desired.
Synopsis
Zuckerman Unbound is a 1981 novel by the American author Philip Roth. Like much of Roth's fiction, this book confronts the tenuous relationship between an author and his artistic creations. It resumes the story of Roth's fictional alter ego Nathan Zuckerman that was inaugurated in Roth's previous novel The Ghost Writer.
