Translated with notes by Christina Pribichevich-Zoric. Bound in beautiful burgundy half cloth with silver lettering on spine, lighter burgundy paper-wrapped boards. Endpapers have reproductions of original writing from Zlata's Diary, with her signature--imprinted in the book, not an original signature after publication. The diary was written from September 1991 to October 1993, when she and her parents were allowed to leave Sarajevo. Zlata's once peaceful life turned into a horror overnight, difficult to conceive. Originally published in Croat by UNICEF and is now appearing around the world. 200 pages. 5.4 x 7.5 inches. Viking/Penguin, New York, 1994.
