Beijing: Zhongguo ren min jie fang jun zong zheng zhi bu, 1970. 187p., small pocket-sized volume of Study Documents for Political Work in "Little Red Book" format, with the articles "On Correcting Mistaken Ideas in the Party" and "Resolution on Strengthening the PLA's Political and Ideological Work." Extensive underlining, title page removed, endpapers soiled. In the photo showing Chairman Mao with his designated successor Lin Biao, Lin's face has been partly scratched away, a defacement widely done to his portraits after his failed coup and death in a plane crash in 1971.
