Book club copy with darkened pages. There is a notch about 1/4" in diameter out front board at bottom hinge and in the same location on the dust jacket - almost as if someone took a hole punch to it. Otherwise there is light shelfwear and an occasional dog-eared page. Dust jacket has slight chipping on corners and tearing and creasing on edges. Top of the spine has some fraying.
