About This Item
London: The Bodley Head, 1955. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. A continuation of Adrian Bell's fictional biography of Roland Pace, whose childhood was portrayed in 'The Balcony'. Very good in clean navy blue cloth, slight spine lean, spotting to edges but the pages are crisp and clean. Ownership inscription to front pastedown. In a very good dust wrapper, not price clipped, minor rubbing to the edges and foxing to lower panel. Overall a very smart copy of this lesser known title. Very Good 1955
