Delacorte, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Stated first printing. The volume is bumped at the spine ends and has remainder spray on the bottom page edges. The unclipped dust jacket, sleeved in mylar, is wrinkled with a short closed tear at each spine end, has a 1/8" closed tear with long shallow associated creasing at the base of the rear panel and has a "V" shaped scratch on the picture on the front panel.
Synopsis
Richard Yates was born in 1926. The author of several acclaimed works of fiction, including Revolutionary Road , Eleven Kinds of Loneliness , Disturbing the Peace , and The Easter Parade , he was lauded during his lifetime as the foremost novelist of the post-war "age of anxiety". He died in 1992.
