New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., 1952. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Ted Key. Signed by Author. Hardcover/ no DJ; VG+ Near Fine condition. Boldly SIGNED, dated Sept.,1971 & inscribed With warmest regards to Joe from HAZEL & Ted Key"" by author on 1st blank page; along with 7"" x 3"" original ink cartoon of Hazel waving & word balloon "" Love That Joe!""- all quite striking. Appears to be First Edition, circa 1952, no note of further printings & same year on title page. Brown ""tweed"" binding is tight, bright, square & clean w/ only v. light wear- trace of edge wear, minor sm. scuff on spine (almost missed it). NO bumps or fray. All lettering & cartoons on front & spine crisp & intact. Text is tight, bright, clean & unmarked. NOT ex library. Handsome, well preserved copy.
