Tall quarto, first edition, pp. 68, blue cloth boards with silver lettering to spine, color photos by DDD and others, inscribed on the front endpapers in a giant scrawl to Kathy Ryan, a New York Times photographer. The photographer with three first names tells the story in words and pictures of the kidnapping and ransoming of his dog Yo-Yo, a story that became a Europe-wide sensation. He leaves us with the impression the dog would have been better off with the thieves than with him! Condition of this book: Toning along edges, else fine. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
