This and front end page have been reinforced with white label. The story of Claud Cockburn's legendary political news-sheet which blew the gaff on the 1930s. An account of 'The Week', which began publication in 1933 under the control of its Marxist editor.. It was in many ways a precursor to 'Private Eye' in that many of the stories and disclosures of political and financial 'scandals' were provided by anonymous tip-offs. .
