Third and second editions. . 8vo, . illustrated with 3 botanical plates in the second work. 1/2 straight grained morocco and boards, raised bands Extremities scuffed and rubbed, bookplate, name to title pages, else very good. Lacking map inthe first work. Interesting agricultural observations from an English immigrant to America such as descriptions of Indian corn, rutabagas, etc. Ink ms. note on p. 333 of first work after letter to Morris Birkbeck which reads "All very well old friend Cobbett but what now in 1872 not 60 years. The land alone bought then and held (?) now be large fortune for a dozen families".
