In 1973, Lorenz retired from the Max Planck Insiitute in Bavaria, & moved, with his students & geese to Lake Alm, in Austria. This is the account of the following years, & continuing study of the geese. Konrad Lorenz is often referred to as 'father of the greylag geese and has devoted a lifetime to their study. Sharing their lives at close quarters.
