A course of classic study for women to enhance their conversational skills, circa 1928. Condition notes: 120 (vol 1) and 68 (vol 2) numbered pp; flexible boards. Pages: vol 1: clean, ivory, tight, tan/green eps; a.e. tanned, a bit of page stiffness/waviness. Cover: dk green flexible boards, gilt titles front, plain spine; v lt shelfwear, extrems barely worn. Vol 2 is solid, nut has been wet, with page waviness and mildew stains throughout.

Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
