About This Item

New York: Architectural League of New York, 1925. Book. Very good- condition. Paperback. First Edition. Folio. 396 pages of text. Original thick paperback binding with cloth tape spine; minor to moderate shelfwear including creasing to the corners; protected in custom stiff archival mylar. Illustrated with one color plate preceding the title page. The first 212 pages of text contain hundreds of duotone photographs of Commercial and Residential projects, listing the architects, name of the building, and location. The remainder of the text consists of trade advertisers, many of which are illustrated with black & white photographs, sketches, etc. Includes an index to the advertisers. The front endpaper has a small numeric stamp on it, next to the neat previous owner's name. There are no other markings, and the text is clean and attractive. The top corner of the entire text is slightly bowed, probably from holding it by the corner but not quite letting it bend. This is a large and heavy publication, and remains intact and attractive.
