[1982] M&D Printing Co. / Harvest Home Park Board (Yates City, Illinois), 8 3/8 x 11 inches tall blue cloth hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), silver design and lettering to front cover and spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, maps and facsimiles, 112 pp. Slight staining, rubbing and edgewear to covers, especially the fore edge of the rear cover. Slight bumping to lower tips. Prior owner gift inscription to top margin of blank front free-endpaper. A few pages with slight creasing. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce local history. OCLC (No. 26156730) locates only three copies at institutions worldwide. ~SP13~ [2.0P] Produced for its 125th anniversary, a town history of Yates City, Illinois, a village in Knox County, northwest Illinois. Filled with captioned images of residents and more than 100 images of their homes identified by family name and address, making this an important tool for the historian or genealogy researcher.
