About This Item
New York: Ziff Davis Media Inc., 1999. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. New. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. New, quite literally; still in publisher's shipping bag, with AOL CD and subscription offer contained as well. See scans and description. Find another one like this. New York: Ziff Davis Media Inc., 1999. The June, 1999 Issue (Volume 5, Number 6) of Yahoo! Internet Life magazine. A rather stunning Heather Graham cover shot, as 'Felicity Shagwell (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me), for the collector of scarce HG covers; inset cover shots as well of Mike Myers as Austin Powers, Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in 'StarWars I: The Phantom Menace'. Quarto, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, page count undetermined - because this example will remain in shipping wraps as shown - but a typical length at this time period for Yahoo ! Internet Life was between 130 and 200 pp. and this was appears to be approximately 150 pp. New, and that does mean new, in the original bag and pristine. Even though this is from 1999. As collectible as an issue of this internet history icon title can get, and in fact in a form that many people who had a copy never did have it. See scans. Now defunct, Yahoo! Internet Life (use of "Yahoo!" was licensed to publisher Ziff- Davis) was known for pushing the edges a bit in its field - which was, specifically, shining a light ahead on the internet railroad - during its brief life (late nineties - 2002). Ziff-D brought in name contributors to do that. Other topics inside include, along with the above-named luminaries and much else,Roger Ebert's Favorite Movie Sites, Pro Wrestling online, 'Toon Sites, Landscaping Sites, Privacy Tips, E-mail Forwarding, Screen Savers, Wedding Planners, Bicycling, Summer Sports, GPS and pretty much everything that was cool about the internet in 1999. There may be no more collectible genre piece; and it's in absolute primo condition, of course. For your hardcopy Cyber-Internet History Library, and a hard get as a Heather Graham and with the quaint AOL CD. Your friends definitely will never have this. Ships in a sturdy, new, protective box - not a bag. LPR21
