About This Item

New York: Forest and Stream Publishing Company, 1888. First American edition [1888]. Illustrated with line drawings and sixteen folding plans and designs at rear. Royal blue cloth lettered and decorated in black and gilt, yellow endpapers with advertising, 384 pages. Externally a bit worn with wear to the extremities, two short splits to fabric at the spine head, fraying to spine foot, short fabric splits at joints, good hinges (front hinge just starting to crack from the top), sound but no longer tight text block with what appears to be an old glue repair along the inner margin of the contents page, clean pages with no names or other markings. The first folding plan is torn along fold lines into several pieces but is all there, the other plans are very good with some light edgewear to some outer edges. . First US Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
