Thick 8vo in publishers original textured, gilt and blind embossed dark blue cloth, 399pp, folding tinted lithograph as frontispiece plus 10 other full page plates, 6 wood engravings in text etc __CONDITION : VERY GOOD a well preserved, sturdy clean and tight copy (the spine has been re-backed with the original spine restored, both spine ends also neatly repaired or strengthened with closely matching cloth, the plate margins are moderately foxed leaving the images mostly untouched, the text leaves only very slightly foxed or tanned). __NOTE.
