What began as the "New Welsh Dictionary" in 1953 became far more than a revised and enlarged dictionary with the present title in 1958. After the 1968 edition, additional editions were published in 1994, 1995 ,and 1996. Prefaces to first and 1968 editions included in this volume.Moderate rubbing to cover extremities. Short closed tears and splits in material at head and tail of spine. Heavy text has resulted in crease/split at center point of text block, with resulting vertical crease along spine. Otherwise clean and intact with unworn interior.
