A prolific writer and journalist, Paul Lacroix is known best for his pseudonym 'Bibliophile Jacob' and his historical novels and serious works. From the king and his court to the public and the army, Lacroix documents the fashion and the utility of different clothes through the different levels of society. He pays special attention to differences between the royal courts of Henri IV, Marie de Mdicis, and Louis XIII. Condition: In a morocco binding with gilt detail and edges.
